Milano Crea Impresa - La Rete degli Incubatori della Città di Milano (Milan Creates Business - The City of Milan Business Incubator Network), commonly called Rete Incubatori, is an initiative promoted by the City of Milan - Department of Research, Innovation, and Human Capital (Assessorato Ricerca, Innovazione e Capitale Umano), and is designed to favor economic development in the region.

Rete Incubatori is coordinated by Alintec, a center for technology transfer and entrepreneurial development, which is promoted by Assolombarda, the Milan Chamber of Commerce (Camera di Commercio di Milano), and the Fondazione Politecnico di Milano (Milan Polytechnic Foundation). Alintec offers technological services to businesses, services for the creation and development of high technology businesses, and works with public sector institutions and dedicated associations for the diffusion of a culture for technological innovation.

Five incubators belong to Rete Incubatori and work in the following sectors: Food and Flavor, Biotechnologies and Life Sciences, Energy, Information & Communication Technology, and Fashion.
Within Rete Incubatori, Alintec promotes the best business proposals and the best technologies, all selected through scouting and new ideas.

The Mission

• Create a network among incubators and among businesses hosted by the incubators such that they can cooperate among one another to share know-how, experience, and growth models.
• Identify entrepreneurial ideas and select the most promising with the goal of offering support services to entrepreneurial businesses (tutorials, meetings with venture capitalists, etc).
• Promote Rete Incubatori incubators and incubated companies at the international level through, for example, the organization of customized technological meetings (matching technology supply and demand).
